Needs Improvement
The game could really benefit from a map and a journal to keep track of objectives. I played through the tutorial and it didn't really teach you anything other than you need to manually load magazines. It was also incredibly dark and hard to navigate.

When I finally got through the tutorial and got into the main game it was the problems the tutorial had multiplied. Big open maps aren't interesting when there is nothing in it and it's confusing to navigate, I spent most of the demo just holding the sprint key and moving forward through hallways that had nothing. Which is a shame because when it actually came to gameplay I thought it was good.

Going back to the tutorial it mentioned a building near the overpass, so I had a landmark in mind to reference where my objective was but I never actually saw the overpass until I was literally outside the building I needed to get into, the game said there was multiple entry points, I only got in through scaling the scafolding outside, which I didn't know would actually lead me there in the first place because it had no floors, and I thought it was just decoration until I actually started climbing. I found the entry point in the basement I believe but it's just a hole, that I couldn't climb through, and on the other end was a doorway I literally could not tell was a door until I walked passed it because it resembled the wall that lead to where the keycard could actually be used. which, while interesting didn't help me actually get in the place I needed to be, and didn't really offer much to me.

There also the fact that you have a merchant, but when you go the proper path, because I don't actually believe there are multiple paths for the tutorial, you don't encounter him, and why have a merchant in a tutorial where you have no money? I understand. Kill him to take his items but he's out of the way and by the time I wanted to actually deal with him I had 4 AKs, which wouldn't allow me to buy any of his items. again and are better than the guns he sells anyway. why?

The point I'm trying to make is the tutorial at the very least should teach me how to play the game. which it fails to do and the only reason I managed to finish it was using the knowledge I got from other, similar games I have played. This needs to change.

Finally the night vision is just simply terrible, it didn't really improve vision in pitch dark, and it has this weird effect over it that just made it hard to see, I'd rather take a flashlight implant over it as it is now.

TL;DR Add a map and journal, or/and scale down on the size of the levels, their size is an active detriment to your game. and just outright replace the tutorial, it fails at it's objective and finally change the night vision

I agree with this and also, ik its an early demo but, its very janky (animations and sound in general) and buggy, i got caught in a loop with in a conversation with this guy at door where i didnt have the item he wanted so every time i chose leave option it would reinitiate the covo again so i was trapped, this area was packed with enemys so they eventually found and killed me, however the demo is still very promising tho just needs some polishing

+1 on this, one thing the OG Deus Ex had was a journal that showed the progress and completion of tasks and it updated.
Without direction, I'm just running around a vast empty space with no idea what I'm doing.

Also yeah, the large scale, gets old fast and is detrimental to any pacing.

I didn't have any issues with the nightvision or the scale, I actually really liked how many different ways you can get to areas and there's a lot of hidden items in places that you initially think are empty spaces, but yes, definitely the game needs a journal to keep track of where a quest wants me to go and if I've completed it.

What different ways there are and how items are hidden doesn't make the scale a positive. Both can be achieved on reasonable ones, as all the Shock and Deus Ex games as well as Prey showed. I'm sure there are more.

Similar to t850 above, currently the scale makes the game look extremely sparse to me. Sprinting along long distances for what feels like an eternity (because there's nothing to do or even look at along the way), only to end up in yet another dead end, gets old very quickly.

Hey, thankyou for the feedback. We've taken a lot of this into account and we've made several improvements to the tutorial to help you out.
