They never added a map to Sanctuary, it's unlikely they will do it now.

However, there is a player-created map, available in the Steam Guides section.

Most metroidvania have them to make backtracking less tedious. You the player still need to fill said map.

You'll get a feel for it. The first one didn't have a map either.
