Business/feature idea and request for Frozenbyte
As I think Frozenbyte already knows, Trine is an amazing thing to behold in 3D. I thought with all the attention VR is getting, with some videos featuring just VR news are getting 100k views, that it might be nice for, well, everyone, including Frozenbyte, to build a way play the entire Trine series in 3D, in VR. I thought it might be pretty "easy" to do seeing that Trine games were made to work in 3D already.

I am envisioning the most obvious solution that probably anyone would too, which is to have the game load into a VR world with an awesome Trine theme with a window in front of you, displaying the game in 3D. For example, a dimly lit room with candles and magical items around and a wood framed display surrounding the game display window that can be resized and warped to surround the player. Maybe the room dims when the game starts. Maybe there is an option to display a mist covering the VR room so it doesn't need to be rendered along with the game during play.

Obviously, the Frozenbyte team needs none of my help to create a jaw dropping world to exist in or any of the technical details you no doubt would have thought of yourselves. I just put those forth since, well, I'm probably a little excited about the idea. :)

One interesting source of information for getting an idea of just how popular playing "flat" games in VR has become, you might check out the Flat2VR discord where a huge army of people are discussing fixing games so that they display in VR. They've made mods for 100s of games now. Notable developments include an injector by Praydog, who made a universal fix for modern Unreal Engine games like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria game. Luke Ross has created ways to play some popular games in VR, like Cyberpunk 2077. Because people are learning that they can play games like Cyberpunk in VR, there is a lot of attention being paid to the idea of playing normal games in VR using the normal gamepad or mouse and keyboard, which thinking back, its somewhat interesting to realize was the original goal of Occulus Rift team.

Anyway, I hope you're all doing well and thank you for your beautiful games.
