3 kids
1 girl 1 guys and 1 gay/trans maybe
There all black
You know this is for the "next generation"
trine 4 had zoya explaining her "leggings" was the red flag, but I never expected them to take this plunge so quickly, now they made zoya gay, AND her partner is indian too. This is the future of the series no doubt. This will be the last trine for me anyway, the game is getting stale, even the devs know it so they'll mangle it up with esg stuff that's prevalent nowadays because they don't give a ♥♥♥♥ anymore. Perhaps the devs should just retire the series rather than desecrate its corpse with current politics.
It also really raises the question why their are in this form, because these kids do have magical abilities, so Margaret must have been busy with a customer in her shop or something.
And as much as it pains me to say this, after seeing what they did to characters in main game I don't want them to make an expansion. I want to end my run with the franchise with happy memories.
But if so, saves me $50.
Played all games so far. When I first played Trine 3 back when it got out, I hated it. Now I like it the most. Same for my kid. First started the series when she was 4 years old, hated Trine 3 now we replay it the most. I think it's time they give another shot at 3D.
Hope they bring back different size boxes, planks etc. Really miss that from the first games. Trine 4 and 5 are more friendly towards toddlers, but I enjoyed the mechanics from the first two games more.
The slightest hint of diversity and you act like they spat in your tendies.
If it is suitable for the story and setting, nobody does care.
People DO care, if protagonists suddenly get race swapped, suddenly there is a out-of character lesbian stuff going on where the the same character has become a girl boss and every other of the male protagonists have become wussy and weak. And the love interest of her is fully out of place too in that setting.
Also, if I'd go further that certain character got replaced by another incarnation of herself looking very unlike of the Zoya of Trine 1+2. You can wave that away though of the heritage of the new Zoya.
Or how do you explain that the kids of Amadeus got suddenly all dark with pink hair from Trine 4 to 5?
