Could you please try to restart your headset and see if that helps? If it doesn't, make sure to have the game updated.
Also, are you trying to run the game via Steam VR or some other method?
Thanks
Other VR games work fine with the headset.
I launch the game via Steam VR.
We tried the game with Quest 3 and everything went smoothly, so it could be that this isn't on our end.
Could you check if your headset has the latest update? The latest one should be 64.0.

Additionally, as a last resort, can you check your graphics card drivers?
Edit: we've found this thread on Meta Community Forums. It could be related to your issue: https://communityforums.atmeta.com/t5/Get-Help/black-screen-but-I-can-still-hear-audio/m-p/1151094/highlight/true#M273106
I have tried the following:
Making sure that everything (Steam, the game, the headset, the graphics drivers ...) is up to date.
Reinstall the graphic card Drivers in a 'factory reset' mode.
Reinstall the game.
Reboot the headset multiple times.
Reboot the computer multiple times.
Nothing works, I still have the same issue: on the computer screen, the game is just displaying a black screen. On the Steam VR in the headset, the game is stuck on 'next up'.
At this point I think it is probably a graphic card driver issue (AMD 24.4.1) because the driver crashed a few times and I even got a blue screen during yet another try to launch the game. I tried to regedit to remove any older residue from AMD drivers but the same issue persists.
Maybe that the graphic card is not powerful enough ? It is an AMD 6800m (laptop version). But it would be strange because other games work well and I don't think that Escape Simulator is super demanding compared to other games ?
I have been able to make the game appear on the screen (although the VR Headset remains stuck on 'next up').
I went into the SteamVR 2.4.4 settings, Clicked OpenXR, and clicked to make SteamVR the default for OpenXR as well as putting "Meta plugin compatibility" to automatic.
I get a new error message from SteamVR: "Wrong video card: Please plus your headset into the same graphics card as your primary monitor.".
Hopefully I am close to find a solution to this. This seems to be an issue of SteamVR and/or the game trying to use the CPU instead of the GPU for the graphics of the game.
