How on earth to setup Keypad Locks?

I'm trying to make my first level, and I want to use a keypad with a 4 digit code on it. How on EARTH do I set this up? I put in the password I wish to use, but when I play test and click on the numbers, nothing happens or changes on the number screen. Google and YouTube searches are not helping me.

These have not been of help to me sadly.. they all explain combo locks and spinning locks, rather than keypads :(

Ah my bad! The best thing you can do it find the community room that uses a good keypad, click copy (upper right corner), go to "your rooms", pick the room and click edit. Than you can inspect each element to see how it's made. ;)
You can also use use someones else keypad like this: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2775123153&searchtext=keypad
Download it from the workshop, go to your room, Esc>import and import the whole keypad to your room. ;)

I decided to just go with the rotating combo lock.. no keypads were working, including the one from the linked workshop page..

It works fine for me and in other rooms. Rotating combo lock is also fine pick. Good luck with the room and share it with us on discord.gg/pinestudio
