Hey WanderingKitten! Sorry to hear that you're having difficulty trying to run Escape Simulator. Could you provide me with some more information? Are you entirely unable to run the game or are you experiencing any different issues? Thanks in advance for your reply!
i set the graphics all the way down and its so laggy to the point it's unplayable especially in big rooms it sometimes crashes
idk if im saying the right things here but i have
i5
8gb ram
gpu thingy GT 755M 1 GB
i know that it is bad but surely this should run properly?
Hey WanderingKitten, thanks for your reply and for sending your specs. These are the minimal system requirements for Escape Simulator:
OS: macOS High Sierra 10.13+
Processor: X64 architecture with SSE2 instruction set support
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: Metal-capable GPU
Storage: 14 GB available space
It seems like your current specs are really close to the minimal requirements, so unfortunately it is indeed possible that the game might not be running as smoothly as you might expect it to. As mentioned before, you might still be able to get a refund. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
thanks, i dont have any screenshots but i managed to play on a M1 (isn't mine so something else may be the cause but i doubt it) which was completely fine even on max graphics
the only problem is when zooming into items and then switching the item will sometimes glitch and be either pink glitches or black checkers/triangles across the screen then the game crashing
if you want to replicate it go to the first desert level then pickup the black statue thats in the middle on the pillar thing and blue book then switch between them a few times
this happens on whatever level i tried but rarer so ill be at the end of solving one and crash when im looking at stuff
edit: well like i do i have screenshot but i cant get them very soon lol
Thanks for the additional information. Do I understand correctly that you were experiencing these crashing issues on a different computer? If it is indeed a recurring issue that involves crashing, could you perhaps post your player log here, so we can look into it for you? Thanks in advance for your reply!
what and where is player log
Hi Wanderingkitten!
Depending on which OS you are currently running, you can find your player.log here:
Windows: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Pine Studio\Escape Simulator\Player.log
MacOS: ~/Library/Logs/Pine Studio/Escape Simulator/Player.log
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Pine Studio/Escape Simulator/Player.log
thanks, here it is after reinstalling then replicating the glitch https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pw3aaOC3UL-MXitDBsHt2osbAHlM1rgh/view?usp=sharing
