The lab ! molecule model
Can someone explain the answer ? I got stumped on it and even after I look at the answer in the walkthrough and the hint on pad which is to find the differences. I can`t even explain it.
Can someone explain this one to me please..I feel like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ on this one

Count the odd one out of each element among the three molecular models in the level.
For example you see that 2 out of 3 models have 3 red molecules, and the other one has only 2 red molecules -> that's the odd one out for the red group, which means that you need to enter the digit "2" on the keypad corresponding to the red molecule.
Apply the same logic to the blues and whites and you'll get the code.

Don't feel like a ♥♥♥♥♥. I never had to use a clue before this one and couldn't figure it out either even with the clues.

Also annoying that you have to wait for 6-7 clues before getting the one you need. Unfortunately, I can't think of a way to provide the right clue immediately.

This puzzle makes absolutely no sense. I now know the answer, but how on Earth could someone gather from the clues that the "correct" answer is to take the number of each molecule that's only represented once out of the three models? There is nothing suggesting this in the game... If the clue is that the guy 3D printed one model of the "beautiful" compound that was correct, wouldn't the corresponding numbers from JUST the "correct" one be what that man would use as a password?

I haven't found a single puzzle in this game to be unfair until this one -- moon logic.

I agree. The solution makes absolutely no sense. There is nothing in the clues that suggests it.

The puzzle is super annoying and frustrating. The way the clue is written makes me think that ONE of them should be correct and should have the total sum of correct colors. Instead, this idiot scientist decides to print 3 incorrect models for no reason? It's not logical. It makes no sense. The puzzle should be figuring out which one is the correct model, instead it's spot the difference and it's absurdly irritating how the clue is written.

This clue is abysmal and needs to be rewritten.

Yeah I played through every room and the molecule one was by far the most frustrating and made the least amount of sense to me. When I finally solved it I wasn't happy and didn't feel like I understood the solution. I had to use every single hint (which barely helped) and sort of guess at it until it worked.

I didn't really have this issue with any other puzzle in the game, so I do think it would be good for the devs to take a look at this and rework it slightly so it's not so insanely obtuse.
