Alt-Tab, Window Focus and Resolution
This game needs better alt-tab support. It has a really hard time capturing and releasing the mouse cursor when alt-tabbing. Furthermore, there's no ability to select your resolution, I have to either play in a micro-window, or fullscreen/borderless with criminal amounts of pillar boxing. Please fix the alt-tab issues and let me play this game in full 32:9 resolution.

I also have difficulty with alt-tab with multi-monitors. Alt-tab always changes focus, but doesn't always capture the mouse input.

There is option in settings to stretch to 32:9, but I think it is not a good idea - all will be stretched. But to remake all sprites to adopt for wide screen is a huge task

Then at least improve the alt tab support so the game can flawlessly move between focused and inactive using the mouse, without hanging or requiring to alt tab back to the window directly. Ive also had the mouse cursor lock up during re focus and had to alt f4 the game.

Could you make video what happens when you doing alt tab, because on my computer alt-tab works well, but I have no wide screen monitor. We had a lot of troubles on the beginning with customers alt-tab feedback, and we made changes during several patches, but lately I see only this thread with such kind of problem

It's not something that can really be captured in video. What's happening is if you alt-tab off the game the mouse either sometimes remains captured or otherwise seems to get lost until you try again. Then when the game is no longer in focus you cannot return back by clicking on the game window, if you do, it traps the mouse but does not activate the window, you then have to alt-tab again to release the mouse. You have to alt-tab through the list of active windows to return specifically to Highfleet. Occasionally when doing this, the mouse becomes "locked in place" on Highfleet. The game still works, keyboard commands function, but the mouse cannot move. The only option at this point is to alt-f4 to force quit the game.

As for ultrawide support. it doesn't need to have the sprites redrawn, just the interface. Keep the sprite scaling at 16:9 but simply increase the game area. Here's what I mean:
https://imgur.com/a/5Px4JKK Window is too small to vertical area.

https://imgur.com/a/hTyIpjj Pillarboxing at borderless fullscreen (which sets the game to 2560x1440).

https://imgur.com/a/5SfHzy8 This is what I meant but the ultra wide support. Nothing is stretched, just the UI is widened.
