I was fortunately able to get in touch with Konstantin Koshutin and ask a few questions, the game is not abandoned and he still has plans for DLC and updates. But the going is slow due to the war and how it's directly affecting them (financially, I assume) and their ability to continue working on HighFleet.
Reguardless, even if there wont be anymore updates or DLC, the game is still solid.

Keep him and his colleagues in your thoughts and or prayers. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ situation all around.

Even if KK abandons the game, the modding is still going forward. The best way to spend time while waiting, IMHO.

Thank-you for taking the time to get in touch with the devs and provide this information. It's a gem of a game and the devs deserve to be rewarded for their hard work. Let's hope they can continue supporting their game in the not too distant future.
