TIP: Clicking a target point for a cruise missile determines where it will switch on the tracking. It's not the destination.

This was highly confusing for me. This video clarified it, I think it's at the 2-3 minute timestamp.

So for example an anti-radiation missile will start looking for radar signatures after it reaches this waypoint.

Ah thanks, that's important to know and unexplained in the game. Some of the guesswork in the accuracy comes off next run!
..now if I could only remember what all the different missiles are while i'm in the game..

Damn, that's good to know. I was wondering why my anti-radiation missiles were flying over their targets then doubling back to chase after a certain point.
