Can't play and always crashes because windows 7? WTF

Honestly my mind is kinda blown here. Crashes every time I land for the very first time. Yes I have windows 7, and I didn't even bother reading the system requirements because the game looks so old school and doesn't even take up 1.5 gigs. Had no idea until I read a review mentioning it then saw for myself. Am I some kind of presumptuous ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a dinosaur assuming there's absolutely no way or reason that this would only run on windows 10?

Try running the game inside of a windows 10 virtual mechine, if you absolutely will not update to windows 10 its your only other option besides the devs updating the game

LOL, had no need to update. Honestly none of the games I wanted to play would only run on windows 10 until this year. The recent plan is to wait until I can buy that and a nice SSD to start fresh on, but am very on a budget PC gamer.

You aren't alone. This is only the second game I've run into that I want that won't run just fine on Win7, and I still have games that run like crap on Win10.

I see the writing on the wall, though. I don't like what it says, but I see it.

To be fair, this got changed at the last minute right after release. As of last night it still listed Windows 7 SP1 under both minimum and recommended, and the original edition of the manual said as much too.

Okay so i found out what happened via the microprose discord, the game was assumed to work on windows 7, but right before release someone on windows 7 siad the game was crashing on them it took until release for this info to get to someone who can change the store page. This was not malicious.

Another windows 7 gamer here. Hopefully the devs give us a patch soon. Either way I will not be refunding as this game seems right up my alley and I'll definitely play it when I get around to upgrading my computer.

I suggest refunding it, you're not missing out on anything.
