Game lenght

Hey,
I just bought this game & i was mind how long it take to finish the campaign? I know it depends on playstyle but you know the ordinary time of finishing the game +-

I checked other discussions on this topic and some said that the game would be enough for 30-40 hours, others for 10-20 hours and still others for about 10.

So I actually have no idea how many hours it takes to complete the campaign because of these polarized opinions.

If you read up on good strategies beforehand, you can probably win it in 3 hours.
If you go in blind, it'll probably take about 10h before you find good strategies on your own and you can go on to win.
If you like to experiment with different play-styles, look for more lore in-game, or re-play it on hard difficulty, then you can easily get upwards of 40h out of the game.

Im in the middle of my third run, and just gone past 70 hours. I have spent a lot of time recording stuff though so I would say a solid 30. "Finishing" the campaign isnt as easy as just getting to the end lol. So it depends really

Playing on hard difficulty insted of normal significant lengthens playtime?

Or this doesn't it matter more in terms of the length of the game play?

I have spend 50 hours in the ship editor building my ships and optimising designs for campaign lol

Do not expect it to be shorter than 60 hours, unless you're using custom armored deathbricks.

I havent played hard mode yet, I believe things like fuel costs more, not sure if it would affect the game length.
