car is painting is weird

so I had the task to paint a car of a customer. it's not mentioned what color to paint the car in. so i picked another color. ended up spending all of my money to repaint the thing, yet the checkbox never got filled out. i did follow the tutorial but it just doesn't work

If I remember correctly (as I'm just a community manager, not the dev himself), the task 'paint the car' usually tells you to paint the car the same color. Treat it as 'refreshing the paint'.
If the game asks you to paint the car in a different color, you should be able to see a hint next to the objective. :)
