Stuck at certain point

So I am almost 6 hours in and I I put on the headset to remove the headset and saw the memories. Then I got back into the simulation and the objective said to escape. I went back into the home to get energy and when I went back out it said go to work. I am lost what to do or do I just need to keep working?

Thank you. Beat the game last night but got stuck at that part for a while. Btw game is a blast and was so good. Cant wait to see more from u guys! Also excited to get back into the game and explore the secrets like the machine under the graveyard

Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the game! Full disclosure, that machine is an abandoned concept, we moved focus elsewhere, but there was originally an intention for it we had to cut out

That is ok. Great game anyways! Is it worth it to search for more secrets or is most stuff abandoned side quests?

There are tons of burger tokens to upgrade the restaurant, a bunch of audio tapes and pages with lore, 60+ TV programs, all the music on the jukebox, and the radio station is 2+ hours. It was definitely meant for one to immerse themselves and explore!
