If any developer listens to EVERY player, then absolutely EVERYONE will be unhappy. The problem is that we need a lot of REASONABLE balance changes. But there are 2 "buts": unmotivated developers; another team of developers who play at the level of testers with a bottle of beer and they basically don't care, they have an average of 2 kills per game in their statistics and they are happy with it. And developers and players play at different levels - it's not the same thing, not even like different planets - but like different galaxies.
[Ahem]
In Texas Chainsaw, the fear's on display,
With killers and screams in the fray.
But to add to the thrill,
You must open your till,
For each shiny new character play.
The outfits will cost you a fee,
And the weapon skins? Not for free.
Execution packs too,
With a price tag in view,
They'll drain every last bit of your glee.
While the carnage and chaos delight,
Your wallet won't win this fight.
For each gory addition,
They charge with precision,
Till gaming feels more like a plight.
