Item spawns are somewhat randomized (items have a fixed # of locations where they can spawn). Note that the shed in the backyard always has a wrench, which is your best defensive option as it can knock down Johnny (only 2 in the game).
There are 3 locked doors. Front, side, and basement. Johnny has to pick all 3 (if girls don't). Sorority has to pick basement door, but they can open/lock others.
Right off the bat, if Johnny is chasing you, you can infinite loop him as long as you manage your stamina and know that you can stun Johnny with a proper door slam. Johnny is a monster when you're learning, but you eventually learn that he's very weak.
Go brush up against johnny he is your friend
- Johnny's a meme. He has 4 swings before tiring out, and he has to 3shot you. This is already against him. You can stun him with doors. The picnic table in the yard to the left is an infinite. The top floor is chock full of them. Front garden has a little drop you can use to loop him as well. It's like DBD, but the killer is godawful. Enjoy yourself. You might die a few times learning but that'll soon pass. Most Johnnys DC for a damn good reason. You can jump out windows for a 100% risk free escape. Do not use vents much, they are a death sentence against any competent Johnny.
- That said do NOT try to do Phone or radio in his face without cover: You will be super duper dead. Get cover by a teammate, or get a knife or wrench and cover someone else doing it. You can wrench him for free and you can stab him in the back with the knife. Do this and your objective is guaranteed. Then it's just a matter of hanging on for five minutes, which might sound daunting, but really, it's not.
- Learn the Attic Pole spawns, because Johnny's lose condition is a SINGLE one of the girls escapes and the Attic Pole allows you to head out at 45 seconds, which is usually before Johnny can even walk into the house. You can cheese it with the door to the right to break your animation. The attic ladder will still drop, but you're free to move. Johnny can break this, so try to stun him if he comes. If he's stunned, or he doesn't make it, congrats, you won.
It's more playable than base game, kinda. If you play Johnny don't feel bad if you lose because you most likely will.
The picnic table is an infinite? What do you mean by infinite?
Are you talking about running around the table? I tried that a few times but it never works for me because of stamina.
Infinite being a very safe loop if you mind-game and pretend to go one way and then quickly turn around - or sometimes standing still and pretending to be AFK works (once they head one way, just go the opposite way)
lol i love the fake AFK idea, total poker face there. Jonnies keep leaving. i guess there are no points in this mode anyways
i played a good bit of it and while its ok, i do not enjoy survivor in that setting and family takes teamwork when id rather just be laid back and smell the roses (or sunflowers lol)
Honestly it probably goes way back to my love of the 80s and the campy / slumber house party movies i snuck out into the living room to watch on a floor tv when i was a kid
Yeah, no points literally. You do not gain any XP / player level / progression for playing Rush Week so after like experiencing it for the first couple times, I'm sure most people just play the main game-mode!
Ive never been someone who plays for points. Although I wish you did get them from rush week, just to help me level up in the main game
