Do you have the cross-platform enabled? cause for me as survivor it's like 4/8 minutes and for killer 1/2 minutes in order to find a game match.
Are the devs even the devs? Now that i think about it, i bet their just outsourcing their dev duties too like they do everything else.

I do get into lobbies fast sometimes but most of the time takes ages
Not even hating on them, they killed their own game by laughing at their player's feedbacks and not taking it seriously

I will give them credit in that I think the opposite is true. I think they listened to the player's a little too much. The problem was they didn't listen to any good ideas players had, they just always catered to the absolute most idiotic ideas the players had, and implemented them. Turning off crossplay was a great example, pretty much destroyed the playerbase like a few months after launch, and a lot of people forget it wasn't their idea, there was a huge dumb proportion of players who were screeching for it.

As devs, they should know the game and know how it's going to effect things. The problem is, since they don't actually code the games themselves, don't playtest it themselves, they're just as clueless as the players as to how things are going to be affected.

Yeah, listening to player feedback can horrendously backfire depending on who you listen too. You need to take feedback from people who either play both sides or have a unbias opinion on game balance. Dbd is a prime example. When it comes to actual game balance, there’s only like 3 people I would trust.

I guess it depends on days and hours cause today for example its taking a little bit more time.

yesterday was 700-800 on steam, not that bad i would say considering that 2 weeks ago was 200 or below

well that is the average but the game is still considered as "dead"

Theres no reason to come back to game.

Players have been max level for over a year.
80% of perks are still trash and never got reworked.
They fixe the same bugs each patch.
Maps got reworked for survivors but killer bias maps never reworked. They never even took time to move gaps or objects on maps when its so easy to do.

Each family character has maybe 3-5 good perks in their entire tree. Everything else is not only bad, but so laughably pointless you wonder why it's even in the game. You want more family players in game and to get rid of the meta? How about making all their perks actually useful?

And yeah it does seem like they just patch the same stuff over and over, like they fixed one thing three months ago, break it again in this latest patch, fix it three months from now, break it again, etc. But also even with their gameplay "balances" they just seem to do and then redo and redo ad infinitum. How many grappling reworks have we had? There's been like half a dozen major overhauls, plus dozens of tweaks and fixes, and the system still works significantly worse than the original system we had at launch.

So yeah, it does seem like no matter how much work gets done, all they're doing is just spinning their wheels in the mud, and there's just never any forward progress that gets done with this game.

Why don't you give a full break down of where the game fails?

If it were me I would say : the game rewards victims rushing way too much. I could probably write 10,000 words on the topic.
