It will flop so badly like with all their updates.

It sounds like it'll just divide the tiny player basis even more.

I think it’s permanent, yeah. Hopefully it brings something new to the game.

Yes however I don't have much faith on it, queue times are already long, imagine how worse it could possibly get

DBD with over 50k (only Steam numbers) struggled with it's queue times with 2 v 8 mode
Imagine adding a new game mode to a dying game with barely few thousands of people across all platforms

Especially with many people who just want to play as Johnny.

New? nah, think Friday the 13th but with Johnny and with no supernatural element.

On the survivor part it was hardly a issue , you could land in a lobby and start a game under 4 mins, but killer was more challenging, it could take up to 10 min to start a game , and that is with 50k on steam and probably more on console .

Tcm has no chance to pull this off when they have 500-670 people on steam hourly and probably just a little over 2k on consoles ( pure speculation on console part)

Lets face it this game and the glorydays it had is pretty much over and it is heading straight over a cliff soon .

Yeah really. Shame because this game could have been huge, and in fact was pretty dang big at one point. But they've had about 50 moments that went like:

Players: Wait....THAT'S the direction you devs want to take this game?
Devs: Yeah! What's wrong with that?
Players: List about 10,000 good reason why not too.
Devs: Yeah...but....we're doing it anyway.
*playerbase continues to die out, but devs and devkissers constantly go on forums and wonder out loud why nobody is playing anymore*

As for the johnny panty raid mode, it's just going to be a killer abuse simulator like all these type of game modes they make anymore, just a one sided excuse for 6 victim players to backstab and constantly abuse the big bad killer who's really the helpless one, isn't going to bring any players back aside from a momentary boost of a couple hundred like all their dlcs seem to get.

It sounds like it'll just divide the tiny player basis even more.
not everyone will have access to rush week, and the novelty will bring back a few players who left.
also consider you are stealing away 6 victims and 1 killer at a time, and normal queues have more victim players than family.
tcm could have 1 million players, but if 90% are victims and 10% family, then you're still gonna have congested queues. even ideally, in a 4:3 victim to family players ratio, the queues are still gonna be skewed in favor of family because victims who die can move on to the next game while the killers stay in that very same lobby until the end, meaning there's not gonna be any killers for those victims who left.

so honestly, if everything goes well, i think it should be healthy and give faster queues for normal games despite the lower playerbase overall.

I dont even think its 10% family. I saw somewhere it was more like 2%. No idea where they get that number.

I saw it somewhere on Reddit but now I cant find it -.-
They claimed it was posted by the devs but take that with a grain of salt. I know the amount of family is below 10%
