What's the best pure cook build?
I'm wanting to be a support class for cook and just go all hands on deck pure blood for the team. Any idea what build I can use? Surgical, Blood donor, Universal donor?

Blood builds aren't much use seeing how quickly most victims can rush anymore, you don't really even get a chance to collect blood. even if you did, it's like wow, amazing, you were able to get grandpa do level 5 in three minutes, now you can watch all the glowing yellow victims dancing around and teabagging at the generator exit. In any case, the cook never was an amazing blood collector. Just look at his stats, he has slightly high BC than like johnny or HH, but it's still not good. He's also very slow and can't really get around to all the buckets that well. Nancy, and especially sissy were supposed to be the blood collecting characters, but like i said the whole system is basically trashed at this point so it doesn't really matter. And i'm not even mentioning how insanely easy it is to stab grandpa once and remove 3 of his levels.

The meta cook build was security pins, serrated, and scout. Security pins is bugged, of course. So....basically there is no "best" cook build anymore. F this game.

im lucky to find 1 blood bucket as cook before all the victims have already escaped and probably teabagging at the exit for a few seconds before leaving.

Serrated, Scout, Security Pins if they fix it, if not swap SP for Unrelenting, and park your ass in one of the exits while keeping an eye on side objectives nearby. Do not do blood, specially as Cook, he's far too slow for it. Blood in general is useless and a snowball mechanic at best, I.E, three people are dead, let's grab those three free levels to uh... Utterly destroy this lone Leland who realistically isn't getting out anyway.

Or Big Swings, Bigger Swings (Vial-ent), Biggest Swings (Serrated) Cook who kills in 3-4 blows but is slow as molasses. That one's for the memes, but it is fun while also being extremely dumb and unviable against anyone good.

Actually Cook and Hitch are the fastest blood collectors due to their .... special interaction, so to speak ... with blood buckets.
Other than that, it's only advisable to got for Suffocating Grip (or level 1 perks in general) or MAYBE rush for Nobody Escapes from Hell (level 2). But it's always risky to invest time to collect blood unless you are playing with a premade team and just rush to level 5 in 3 minutes.

Security pins should be fixed with the current patch - haven't tested it myself, though.
