I wouldn't consider it
(You can play the game for 2 hours and refund it if you don't like)
If you cant spare much and want to invest for a long time gaming, this is 50/50 deal.
TCM being almost fully finished, with a good optimisation. It looks great and being fully autentique to the original movie. Still some bugs and balance issues, but nothing critical.
Besides "Killer Klowns", its the only asymmetrical game with Team VS Team gameplay, instead of typical 1vs4 games, so this is the best option if you are interested to play as "Family" (killers), while gameplay for "Victims" (survivors) will be pretty much the same as in any other game.
Theres some problems with a groups of toxic sweating tryharders, which playing as premades only to intentionally ruin fun for solo (random) players. Not all premades are "bad", but since devs not included ranking system, you cant avoid lobbies with toxic trash and trolls (but you can block such people in game to avoid them later).
Also, some people at both teams sometimes may ragequit in the middle of the match (typical problem for any game) and itll hurt gameplay much more, than in a typical 32/64 player game.
Plus, playing with random people will be a bit harder overall, due to lack of cimmunication and unified tactics.
But, other than that - game being quite fair and somewhat 6 out of 10 rounds will be enjoyable.
So, if you are interested in Killers VS Survivors gameplay, grab TCM right now - its not worth full price or even 50%, but while on 75% discount - its a real deal.
