I had a talk with the devs and just it's a old folder error. (with the new update the game crash)
1.- Open Steam and right click on the game and choose "properties". Then on the left select "Installed Files".
2.- Select "Browse" this will give you the file location for the game. Keep this window open but go back to steam and close out of the properties window.
3.- Right click the game in your steam library and choose uninstall.
4.- Once the game is uninstalled, open the file explorer (that shows the game file location) and click the upward arrow next to the file address bar to move "up" into the steamapps common folder.
5.- This will leave a TCSM folder, select the "TCSM" folder and delete it.

Then using Steam reinstall the game. [DEV]

"-windowed -force -dx12" COPY & PASTE into the Texas Chainsaw Massacre commands on properties in your library steam list. (Another alternative option)
there was no folder left after uninstalled it, so i re downloaded it again but its not working still
Right click the game in your library. Choose general/ Launch options. Type -dx11 into the options. This stopped the game from crashing for me on startup.
