Oh let me guess the grass the enemy is using wouldnt disappear? LOL.
Like I said before, they didn't think the entire thing through but they're quite determined to die on that hill of "it's fair if it's only for your team!!!!!"
For the third time you can code in restrictions for certain things to not be modded at all. Stuff like core objectives or grass. If it detects mods trying to change said thing it will just block it.
Because you keep ignoring what im saying. I have to keep repeating the fact that you can block specific things from being modded and have items and materials that are allowed to be modded only show for your team.
So I think I thought about it pretty good. You're talking to someone that actually understands the modding scene and enough game development to know that devs can code in blacklisted items from their mod lists. Or limit when they are actually active. I am convinced you're trolling at this point for the amount of times I had to repeat myself because you just read the first sentence and ignore everything else.
They will never sell ronald mcdonald
The devs also released the game with ADMIN TOOLS IN THE CLIENT that were abused at launch within hours, so you honestly think they're competent enough to work out how to blacklist specific assets for modding?
And since we're counting - for the third time, your arguments is moot in the grand scheme since there will never be mod support for TCM. Let it go already.
Workarounds would be called hacks. And hacks are bannable. For awhile they game had a dedicated mods folder that you put stuff into. A contained space. Messing with files and doing work around is subject to bans. At that point it's not a silly mod. It's blatant hacking.
then 2 months i think after the release you cant mod the game anymore im pretty sure there is still a way to mod the game and have it working but it could risk you getting banned maybe just wait until the modding community like friday the 13th to start taking their passion over to texas chainsaw
1- Open steam workshop
2- Hire a manager to control mods
Modder submits their mod & if it doesn't have any effect on competitive aspect of the game, it'l be accepted, but judging by what I know about GUN, the chances are -100%
They only looked for making money in a short period of time aka cash grab & they got it, they have no reason to spend more money on a dying game
and AGAIN.... my question is , why do u think, DBD not allow MODS in game and they have the same politic about mods ingame?? u can to use mods, but taking the risk there , then if u accept these in DBD ui can to do the same in Texas, then pls we are going in circles here.
But in the end DBD don't really need mods since They keep adding skins
On the other hand TCSM barely releases contents, after four months each character got one skin that's mostly recolors
If there's only one game that needs mods to stay fresh, it's TCSM
