So, if you don't patrol the objective, why bother playing? It's not like he can pop the ability immediately when he gets upstairs and escape. Guess victims shouldn't be unlocking the doors or use the perk saboteur either?

Doesn't matter if you patrol or not, you can't stand there 24/7. It just shouldn't be permanent.

He can, actually. All he has to do is get a valve handle to the pressure tank (or someone else can do it for him) and then he can instantly study and tamper it.

I still maintain that you cannot have two characters that demand attention in the same game. The issue with Danny (and Connie) is that you HAVE to find and kill them. If you don't, you will either straight up lose, or they will find a way out in seconds by themselves. It's complete non-sense.

Danny is not balanced as Connie. Connie is lock destroyer, but she has low health, and her skill has a very long cooldown. Danny is different, he has 30 initial toughness, and his skill when level 3 just totally break the balance-no cooldown, instant use, no debuff.

Yeah, Connie is fine because she has a long cooldown and you can still at least guard the objectives after she gets through. Danny is an instant win and the only thing you can do is tunnel him out immediately but since he has all the meta perks as random perks that isn't going to happen unless he sucks at the game and nobody else is doing anything all game. Danny is at least five times as broken as Connie was at launch before they nerfed her.

He doesn't have to do anything. He can instantly study things and studying the thing you intend to tamper with gives you enough juice to get about 80% of an instant tamper. The odds that he won't be able to literally instantly tamper the pressure tank is very low, since he's definitely going to run past a bunch of toolboxes and lamps on the way. Even if he doesn't, he only needs a few seconds, generally less than most people need to turn the valve normally.
