Sad state of affairs when you feel you have to announce that you're "not looking" to fight anyone when wanting to discuss a topic on a discussion board.
Her main ability to see victims is very very blurry and distorted at least for the first two levels. Often I cannot make out where the victims are exactly, unless they are doing something obvious like opening a gate or door. Or differentiating the basement or being outside lol There is something called Clear Eyes which clears up the distortion. You can equip this in the skill tree at level three, but I have not tested this out yet as I am only a level 2 Nancy.
Her traps are pretty good, however she can only really use them in between crawlspaces cracks and doorways with no doors. They are not usable to trap valve or fuse or window escapes. Basically, they can be avoided unless your are being chased and are desperate for a escape route. Also her traps can be disabled by family members walking through them, which happens more often than I would like lol. It is a real PITA because they do take longer to set up than Hitchhikers traps.

Yeah I agree, the traps and sensing should be enough, she also seems very quick so she doesn't need to poison a victim she is chasing.
Not to mention that most of the times she is paired with Cook in the games because old people are funny, I guess, so you often has to worry only about one killer during those chases. Unless, of course, those bright heads brough Johnny with them as the third killer, then it's real free estate to escape.
