Leatherface No Longer Required For Matches**

Changed: Leatherface Requirement

We have removed the requirement for Leatherface in every match

This change does not affect anything other than the requirement

Maps, barricades, and Family spawns are unchanged.

My issue is that the devs tend to pick only the absolute dumbest ideas that players think up to enact.

If barricades aren't altered, certain ones will give survivors a perma safe spot that cannot be reached, I.E the door exit in gas station basement. In such matches.

If barricades were altered Leatherface would be inherently outclassed in his own game by trap characters. The change is fine, you can get by with the barricades still there.

altered only for matches he isn't present, that isn't unreasonable. Leave the ones that can be walked around somehow, but remove the ones that block off a section completely.

Hate to break it to ya, but he's always been outclassed in his own game. That's why so few people willingly play him.

LOL....if you look at the bigger picture....they simply gave people what they asked for to prove a simple point.
Whether someone likes playing him or not he is a core part of the game.
Now you dont have to play him if you dont want to, but they surely are not going to be overhauling maps and everything to make it better if those who asked for this change are now unhappy with it.

Whats there to implement for this particular case? They didnt want leatherface to be mandatory and he isnt. They will not be changing the entire game jsut because some people dont want to play a character who is actually essential to the game.
You would be crazy to think they would remove barricades / slipthroughs / give other chars the option to break them just because a few salty people dont like playing him.

In my opinion they did great with this to bring a point across.
