Similarly, I had all three Family chasing me recently as I ran for the open Slaughterhouse pressure gate. Understandablly the other three Victims used the opportunity to escape with no resistance.
And that's okay because I didn't know either when I first started playing. It's just part of the learning process and without a singleplayer to learn the basics first, that's just what'll happen.
What was the reasoning for that, to just ensure those gets activated right off the bat?
Pretty much. EA is amazing to a point where it almost kills your need to patrol as long as you keep an eye out. NEH is pretty nice. But getting them on Grandpa levs 1 and 2, which you usually can get pretty much for free when victims leave basement on any map but Family House really stacks the deck in Family's favor.
What else are you gonna bring? All the other grandpa perks can be roughly thrown in the same "they all suck" bag. Couple exceptions, but yeah.
These are definitely useful points tbf! Although, I somewhat disagree with the hitch one as some traps in plain sight can be really effective (eg leading to side garden in family house). I think the main barrier for new players is not knowing the maps. If you're on your mic like 'they've opened left generator door' or something they might take ages to find where that is.
well bad for your mental health tho
