New Killer announced. Chop Top!!!

There was a live stream with devs in twitch the other day.
and they said they are gonna add Chop Top to the game.
the killer from the movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986).
I guess he is the twin brother of Hitchhiker.
Anybody in here watched that movie??? I wonder what abilities he will have.

No, they didn't said that they will add him. The question was IF they'll add Chop Top, what will he be like, a new killer or just a skin to Hitchhiker, to which the response was "Definitely a new killer".

Me, I would be glad if we'll have our boy Chop Top in the game, especially if they'll get Bill Moseley to voice him, like they did with Edwin Neal for Hitchhiker. But for now, let us get Black Nancy and Danny first.

The buried and almost destroyed The Next Generator movie, with Matthew Mcconaughey playing Vilmer, because the studios did NOT want to tarnish the image of their new hollywood blockbuster star by having him on screen playing a schizophrenic serial killer who just happens to spend most of the movie abusing and torturing their other next up and coming romcom gold mine Renee Zellweger.

So it'd be interesting if it would even be possible to get the rights to that char these days, as that was one film they didn't even want to admit they ever made.

These threads are why people are getting annoyed at the devs, they aren't even saying things people are going to end up arguing over. Can people please be accurate when stating information instead of going on hearsay and rumours?

I seen the interview and they never once stated they were adding chop top. they specifically said that if they were to add him into the game they wouldnt make it just another skin/costume for an already existing character, but that he would be his own character. Nothing more was said.

that statement was enough to know the Chop Top is considered to be among the future killers.

Yeah, but he wasn't confirmed, and they also don't have the license for the second movie. In fact, they don't have a license for any of the sequels.

Naa, I don't want a red carpet. I just want facts... not hearsay and flat out lies.

They never once said Chop Top was 100% going to be in the game. Stop muddying the water and spreading false information. This is why people are arguing about this game, making wild assumptions and running with hearsay is at least 50% of the issue this community is facing. Cut it out and stick to the facts.
