TBH one of my fav stat builds with him puts his End/Str/Prof all at 35
I am kind of surprised he isn't more of an all-rounder considering his ability can be used to:
1. Greatly extend your stealthiness
2. Allows you to isolate fam members for struggles/backstabs without worry of giving other members instant kills
3. Lets you know which direction to use your hefty endurance to out path fam members camping certain sightlines/directions
4. Also gives ez access to grandpa location before you even get out of basement, as well as knowledge of whether other family is nearby or not............making it always stab-o-clock
Those affects imo make him out to be a jack of all trades.
I personally would like to see his stats become:
Toughness: 15
Endurance: 35
Strength: 25
Proficiency: 25
Stealth: 25
Would greatly facilitate rounded stat builds or allow a person to pump into a stat depending on a build.
Just my take.
One nobody was crying and two i respect your opinion but no need to insult others for sharing their opinions. I'm not new to the game and i know you can buff them yourself, I was just saying the characters stats make 0 sense. Carry on.
???
i dont see one hurry needed, but and i play Sonny but he need adjust in his stats, he actually is hard only with SWF team but in SoloQ need buff for go good for both roles.
Toughness: 15
Endurance: 30
Strength: 25
Proficiency: 25
Stealth: 30
High strength is stupid, because he is one hit snack for LF.
Bro if you are talking about the wallhack when grandpa screams perk - its been broken forever.
Toughness: 25
Endurance: 40
Strength: 20
Proficiency: 25
Stealth: 20
To be fair I would play the ♥♥♥♥ out of Sonny if that was the case, maybe I did even overtune him a bit but my personal feel is that he doesn't need actually strength and stealth, instead just make him mobile and tanky. That way his role will be scouting and attracting attention (since he knows where family members are it's easier to get their attention) and use his toughness and endurance to force a less lethal chase than it currently is. But he can't be aggressive since his low strength, unlike Ana or Leland.
[Sonny Base Stats]
Toughness 15 -> 25
Endurance 35 -> 30
Strength 35 - > 25
Proficiency 25 -> 35
Stealth 15 -> 10
He needs low stealth to offset his ability to sneak around without being seen so he doesn't get anywhere insanely fast w/o any deficiency.
[Full Build]
Toughness 25 -> 32
Endurance 30 -> 43+7 (Ran Track Lv 3)
Strength 25 -> 25
Proficiency 35 -> 43+7 (Highly Skilled Lv 3)
Stealth 10 -> 13+7 (Sneaky Pete Lv 3)
Ran Track could be swapped with Choose Flight or Toughness depending if want to run a lot or jump down into basement more often. This build is largely based on decent survival & running around opening up stuff for yourself or teammates without having insanely high stealth to mash everything.
If they don't make his ability more useful, then yes I think he should get a significant neutral stat bump. At least make him kinda good at basic stuff to make up for having the worst Victim ability.
I would have his stats as:
Toughness: 25
Endurance: 35
Strength: 15
Proficiency: 25
Stealth: 25
He would be more the jack-of-all trades, rather than a specialism. Each will have their specialism, except Sonny is more well-rounded.
Furthermore, I would modify Sonny's ability to be the counter of Cook.
Sonny's T3 ability should allow him to see one family member at a time when he locks on to them moving, just like Cook can against victims.
Alternatively, a second T3 ability that Sonny could choose instead would be to temporarily disable a killer's power for 5 seconds when used on them, with a cooldown of 30 seconds. So when used against Cook, he cannot use his power for at least 5 seconds, even if fully charged.
Finally, a third T3 ability would replace his original ability. He can now target allies with his power to see their position. When they are highlighted, they are immune to all tracking and highlighting from Family for 6 seconds.
So, Sonny being able to see family and highlight them for him will be a big buff for him, given he is one of the most underplayed characters in the game. I don't necessarily think they should be highlighted for his team, just for himself.
