Notice how little gore there was in the first Texas Chainsaw movie?
The game is trying to take after that
I mean you can say whatever you want but that first mallet death is one of the most disturbing deaths in movie history imo
But I guess for some people you need to see brain splattering across the screen and really see the live run out of their eyes is the most important part of a game like this, which is honestly pretty disturbing..
There are "kill scenes" that are gruesome to me, but again, I guess if there isnt brain matter flying accros the screen its not worth it.
Gory? No.
Even this game has more gore than that kill does, yet, is less disturbing.
It's all in the presentation, not the amount of blood splattering.
Look for a therapist
Who says it is "supposed to be gory"? As the original film set the prescient for this title, and the developers clearly chose not too make it a lazy slasher fest. One could argue its not supposed to be like Friday the 13th, it does not need to be Friday the 13th. nor should it be.
Goes does not equal Horror. It is one small (arguably lazy) part of Horror.
