Aw nuts, personally I loved F13 the game because everyone could talk to each other. do y'all have any plans on adding voice chat between Family and Victims and if not may I ask why? Thanks for your time and have a good one!

why you need comunicating with opposition? people just gonna insult each other, f13 - is just mute everyone if you are jason, mute jason if you are counselor, cuz 10 years old kid gonna scream n-words and turn on loud music

Personally, negative comments/insults don't offend me and i find banter between the killer and survivors to enhance the experience rather than negate it; even more so if it's specifically proximity chat because then if you say something and the opposition hears it you accidentally give out intel to the enemy, which not only makes you communicate/play more cautiously but also makes it more realistic. Furthermore, as you pointed out having vc between both teams doesn't affect people who avoid talking to the opponent cuz they can mute them. Honestly, i only play asymmetrical horror titles for the social aspect that's the only reason i like f13 and didn't like dbd; Personally without being able to talk to the enemy i don't see the point in buying it, so I'm only asking so ik if i am gonna buy it.

im kinda glad that its all team chat with the voice. If it was proximity then things would get a little too hectic. It worked in friday 13th as there was only the 1 killer but everyone running around and talking at the same time, it would be pure chaos.

Then people would just be using Discord. Team chat is better, otherwise it turns pointless because then you'll have two guys who never speak to anyone because they're in Discord.

fair point but people will use discord anyways/not use game chat. trust me i played the test and there were some matches no one wanted to use coms at all. like i have said multiple times in this post, I think they should at least make proximity chat an option. Personally, i think it's fun having banter between teams and on top of that it makes the game more social and easier to find friends/teammates. I get it though, proxy chat isn't for everyone but personally if i'm going to buy this game i want it to have it, that's why i was asking.

Yes, they will, but they are more inclined to use ingame voice chat if it's team based since it won't be as chaotic. Take CSGO as an example.

Fair point games like csgo and valorant people use coms all the time. but coms in games like cod, apex and hell even overwatch people generally don't use coms (in my experience.) Unless you're playing higher league comp matches in said games then usually no one uses mic. and since horror games are played by casual players you're gonna get a lot of people using mic. having said that, personally proxy chat is a must have for horror titles it makes them more fun. so no proxy chat = no buy for me. I hope everyone else enjoys it.
