It is, thanks to updates ruining the game instead of fixing it. Also bunch of people complain that "game is not a dbd clone and should be one", people really have very low standarts today.

People can play more than one game at a time. Lots of competition out there. This game is great but is unlikely to be the only game people play every day. TCM has a solid foundation and will only get better with time.

that is how all pc games are, remember battlebit? that game had like what, 20,000 at it's peak, and now where is it? around the same as texas chainsaw. it's just how pc games are. once the hype dies down on pc, the game itself dies on pc.

nah to say it better it's just how FUN GAMES truly are. The only never dying games are ESPORTS games which is just playing for MMR, K/D/A ratios or WINS. Those will never die but in this game you don't care about wins, kda and you don't have MMR so the whole point of the game is to have fun, not to grind highscores. Yet we have a speedrunning community in here tho.

It's kinda repetitive I don't see how anyone could play it for hundreds of hours, nevermind 1000s. DBD is still popular with swf you can just chill and talk and maybe do a gen if you feel like it. This game not so much of a chill and talk game.

In TCM you can escape alone without any help, try this in DbD, it looks like you don’t play DbD, DbD at high MMR is sweaty games where if one survivor not playing all 3 die too.

In dbd you can escape alone and without any help through the hatch, so your argument is invalid.

they don't even have the license for the other movies. lol.... should have just used original killers and characters.

a fair but also somewhat invalid point.. you also have to take into consideration that once you implement so much from so many different IP's it starts to become a stale mess of re-skin and reworked abilities thus becoming less and less unique. Automatically eliminating any player thats very un-decisive. As far as successful yea it is, to a point. DbD is currently at the point of where its failures are seemed to be accepted simply because people have so much time and money invested into it. nowadays people play for the cosmetics rather than the gameplay and spend a fortune in the process, i guess that's ok, if that's the kind of thing you get a kick out of. i played DbD for about 1800hours or so, and i had fun.. but eventually i got burned out on playing Ring around the rosie with the killers. I didn't care for cosmetics so it was easy for me to move onto better games.

Not really. Only one person can do that in DBD and only under a specific set of conditions, they don't do it "without help" either, there are requirements which need to be met. All four can do this in TCM without helping each other at all.

You don't need any help to escape through the hatch, and there's only one requirement to get a chance for it. So that other guy was wrong by saying 'if one survivor not playing all 3 die too'. Becasue one can escape even if 3 others are afk.

You require the other survivors to either leave or die, do you not? So you require outside assistance in one form or another, it's not something you can simply do alone. There are no requirements to escape alone in this game, all four victims can do this without any help from anyone else.

In DBD one person not playing jeopardises the entire team, in TCM it doesn't. In TCM a player can DC at the start of a match and all 3 can still escape without helping each other, you're not going to do this in DBD. This is clearly what the person you were replying to was getting at.
