Killers need stamina for attacks! Also stop attacks from well and stairs

Hey devs,

The killers need stamina when attacking.. the huge majority of killers spam attack like a crazy person!

The victims have stamina and when getting chased is easy to catch up to and every match a killer will pure SPAM attack, why don't they have a stamina when they attack? Doesn't it use energy?

The same as when you jump down a well or ladder... You can take a quick attack from the killers... Why the characters STOP and slow down when fleeing from a killer is insane, anyone would literally hand on the wall and two leg over leaping down the well quicker then stopping and one leg over to take an attack.. If you cannot add that then when going down a well, stop attacks to the victims during the animation.

3-4 attack and you cant attack anymore and u have to stay few seconds to recover stamina, but you can skill stamina so you can attack more but u need the lvl for it. there are many ways to play the family. Stamina, blood or dmg.

lol did u even play as family? the stamina is connected to attacking.

they do have stamina on attacks. if they spam too much they will stop and the victims have a chance to get away. i've accidentally used up all the stamina many-a-time.

I’ve never seen a killer run out of stamina… I even tried myself and stood there smashing attack and was able to do it over and over without it stopping…

You're either trolling or bugged. If you spam attack you'll literally stop and won't even be able to move. You lose stamina while attacking and if you do it too much you're literally stuck in place.

It would help maybe if you turn your cheats off, i guess.

Killers run out of stamina all the time. They'll stop dead in their tracks, throw a little temper tantrum, and have to wait a few seconds before their stamina regenerates.

If anything, I think stamina is kind of nerfed for the family. Even with a hitchhiker with maxed stamina, If i'm in a flat out chase, in practical terms I think I could only manage to catch up to a victim and get maybe 2 or 3 swipes in before I'm out of stamina. Keep in mind your stamina is depleted from just basic travel around the map too. You're never going to be in a situation where you're full stamina, a victim appears directly in front of you, and just runs in a nice straight line for you to follow and slash away at.

To be fair the stamina regen for killers is very strong you can even refill the bar mid chase.

Not had this before, I've even been chased by Johnny and Sissy and seen where they have constantly stabbed at my character to death, even though I was walking away (Not running)

I loaded as Sissy to try and kept pressing attack and she kept attacking on the spot, so I am not sure.

I have never seen a killer run out of stamina in a game we've played.

I will try and make a video for you all, killers do not have sprint but you can walk and walk without effecting stamina, the same as attacking.

Are we all even playing the same game? haha

Most of the common builds focus on maxing stamina. That's why you see what you see. Because it helps with three things. Roaming, Chasing, Attacking more. Exception is blood builds.

Hence the meta results into fast killers that spam weak attacks.

I'm sure you have, you just don't know what it looks like. Which is why i told you that it looks like the Killer stops dead in his tracks then stamps his feet a little or throws his arms out in frustration.

It doesn't last very long, of course, like, if they run out of stamina that doesn't mean they're out of the game for 10 minutes, you're only talking a matter of seconds.

most killers i see have more stammina as me with Julie and 3 sta. bars extra and still they running and atk and never get out

Attacks to well and stairs animations don't do anything except same hit damage, why bother about them?

Bubba can infinitely chainsaw sprint even without stamina, other members with high endurance can run without attacking for very long. Also there are perks that reduce stamina consumption on sprinting.

You are probably just mashing spacebar like crazy, instead use your sprint only to gain distance and stop to recover at safe spots.
