New information about UE4-BBQGame crashes

I wrote to support back on September 2 because I suffered from numerous crashes from the main menu, when searching for a match, and so on. I sent my logs to check the problem.

They answered me a week later. They said that the game crashes because it reads the wrong (integrated) video card, which does not meet the minimum technical requirements.
They advised me to switch the video card in the Nvidia control panel, specifically in the settings of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre game. But it doesn't help, because the game still crashes in the same places. The crash log, according to support, shows the same problem with the wrong video card. Despite the fact that the game started once and I played two matches (the correct video card took the load and the game ran without lags), it crashed after the second game with the same problem. (I did not restart the game, that is, it crashed when it loaded the correct video card)

I sent the log to support this time, but they have been silent for two or three days.

I don't know how useful this information is, but it was at least something new for me, besides these tips of reinstalling a bunch of drivers, which a normal person does first.

Wish there was an option for AMD Users. In my preferences it shows my card and I still get the error message.

For me I had to update my amd chipset drivers to fix that issue might be the same for you too. I also updated my bios.

i'm coming to save the world, I got a word from contact support and they said in order to fix this issue this is what need to be downloaded https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-500-series/radeon-rx-500-series/radeon-rx-580, make sure you download the windows 10 one. I did this and it automatically started working. this is to fix the ue4-bbqgame error unreal engine crash, you're welcome.

I dunno how am i gonna play the game, i haven't played it for like a month, because of this error. A month ago everything was okay but after the update the game Just kept crushing over and over. I Just wish they will fix with an update

Had the same one. I was able to play like one game and then I would receive this error for 5-7 times in a row.

Solution for me was switching to cellphone WiFi. I still play with my home WiFi but through the cellphone USB-modem. It's the only thing that helped me. All the rituals with video card settings never did, or only helped for like 5 games.

u can to try clear the old gpu driver installation then install one fresh driver , if this not work just reinstall the game.

Do y'all have any overlays? That was my issue. It would crash any alt tab attempt or really just trying to load or click on anything. For me, i just disabled rivatuner and closed it.
