A game that seems to be fun and actually is consistent fun isn't the same thing. I'd honestly say it suffers one of the biggest core issues that DbD does as well: It's a casual game but mechanics on both sides can be so heavily skewed that it creates an unfun experience. Victims have the ability to escape in mere minutes. Sometimes, it can feel like you losing a chase on either side can be completely up to luck. That's not really fun

What are you talking about? Bought it fullprice, one of the best purchases I've ever made.

To put it again, I LOVE the concept of the game. Even though I wasn't really into the TCM movies, the game looked fun. But sometimes, playing the game feels miserable. The Victims can stunlock and get i-frames on certain interactions, which ruins the flow. While I myself haven't played much Victim, from what people have talked about and the bit I've seen from vids like H20Delirious', playing Victim is either boring or just downright unfun

If you don't share my opinions, completely fine. This is just the stuff I think

Play some more victim and you'll see how balanced the game actually is. Both sides seems OP from the other side.

The stunlocking only works as a distraction, can't help you escape. It's annoying sure, but if you can team chat then a lot can be changed by getting backup.

Most importantly, if they are bullies, don't chase, just focus on stopping them from doing the actual objectives and focus on the ones actually trying to escape.

Also the fact that every game can be so vastly different is what makes it so absolutely mesmerizing, one time you're dominating, other time dominated, sometimes done in 4min, others die after 20 min.

The few matches I've played as Victim have sucked. Is it because I'm bad at Victim? Yes, that is a big contributor. But what I'm talking about is when people know how to play. Arguably, the best Family player in the world still has no counter to a stunlock. And arguably, stunlocks can help you escape. Whether it's the person you're chasing or not, chaining stuns takes away valuable time. Considering that both stuns last around 7 seconds each, and Victims are pretty fast, you'll most likely get away, while removing valuable time. While the last tip definitely is useful, it's still important to remember: There's 3 Family, while there's 4 Victims and 4 Exits (one being in the basement and super easy to escape with). So it's usually just meh

The counter to stunlock is to get backup, that literally is part of it being a team game and not a solo game.

The other counter is to find the ones not stunlocking, because they are actually tryin to escape, the bullies are wasting time focusing on a single killer to stunlock which will make it harder for them to escape if their teammates get killed.

honestly that works case to case. Many times you're not gonna have a teammate near you to hold, and even then, it's taking away pressure from other exits or areas of interest

Trust me, if given the choice, I wouldn't want to stumble upon Leland every time he gets his tackle up. It's different if they're hunting or sticking by teammates
