Bone Shard nerf
How do people feel about it? I was thinking ppl were crazy saying this game would die but now I believe it some of the nerfs they wanna implement are wild. It was a fun game while it lasted but come Tuesday when the patch goes live I think I will go back to Hunt: Showdown I do not wanna play another dbd game. They went this same route with ridiculous nerfs and I ain't trying to deal with that bs again. I will have to see how bad it truly is first though. But only 3 boneshards per pile is wild it was not even op to begin with.

Why cause you need to continuously stab Bubba in the basement to bully him for stream content? The nerf is a good thing they shouldn't have an unlimited supply of bone shards to just keep stabbing.

I personally think they should have an unlimited supply but put a cooldown on stabs and stuns because that would resolve the problem. Its the same thing for how Head On in DbD has an exhaust CD after you use it so you can't repeatedly stun lock the killer.

I don't even play like that. But thanks for assuming. But no I need a way to defend myself against ppl that just auto beeline to the bottom of the well I'm dropping down especially with all the one shot Bubba running around and sissy's running rubber legs. If stuffs limited might as well just bleed out every match once you're last man alive especially on family house.

This person right here is smart that's the correct move. A limited time cooldown would more than suffice.

Then hide. Honestly the basement is the strongest spot for victims and it's easy to lose them down there. This isn't DBD where you leave track marks.

There is no hiding and you know it cook and Johnny can track you no matter what you do. Plus most killers running the well perk and are down there by the time you drop. Boneshards are the only counter to this right now and they're taking it away.

Also a lot of people do play like that and it's a big reason few people want to play Bubba and why people complain of being stuck in lobbies with no one wanting to play him cause it's easy for victims to do so especially in the basement. I've had Leland's who would stab me as soon as the opening cutscene ended then go to a nearby bone pile grab another rinse and repeat. I can't play the game I can't even get my chainsaw on. This isn't fun and a big part of why it needs changing.

That's what I think as well, I don't think its fair to punish victims for using their resources but instead make it so they have to be more mindful of how they use it. Limiting bone scraps just removes some of the interactive mechanics like disarming Hitchhikers traps and close encounters.

Can't you hide from Cook's tracking by just not moving? And doesn't it tell you when cook is listening? Besides they're not taking it away they're just limiting them. You don't need an endless supply of bone shards to keep stabbing people. There should be a limit. Especially given how many people will just troll with them.

do you know how many bone piles is there? did u know victims have a perk giving % of not break the bone ? really is a nerf but not is so extreme, extreme is let unlimited, u need think in both sides, think u can to play SWF killer too, in other side this is first patches, they are going in the good side, and fast, and they are listening to players, these u dont see in DBD.

I'll be honest, hiding isn't always necessary in TCM. It is also pretty boring to do and prolongs matches excessively in my opinion. I think its fair that there are players who either don't like stealthing or just find more fun in an aggressive playstyle.

I feel like DBD is more a game for that I like the idea of the killers/family actually feeling like a threat rather than someone that can be bullied and isn't a threat at all to the survivors/victims.

They are still a threat in this game, even moreso than a 1v4 asymm like DbD. Its not like everyone is running around on a whim just to stun killers, and like I mentioned before it can just be solved by giving a base stun CD so they can't get stun locked.

but you do know there will still be a lot of bone shards in the map, so the unlimited bone shards is not needed imo.
