XP Gains for Sissy Specifically
There is something very unbalanced with the XP for Sissy. Her primary attribute is Blood Harvest so I go around collecting as much blood as I can to level Grandpa., and doing all I can to set up the perimeter, yet if I find a victim and I start hitting them but another killer comes and kills them I get no bonus, and unless you kill them you really don't get good XP. Although it's a team effort using all of her abilities doesn't grant anymore XP. Even when I do manage to get a kill, I am way lower then everyone else even those that killed one victim the same as me. For instance, I got 1,200 XP and other killers got 1,800+. Can this be adjusted or looked into?

Thanks for reading

EDIT: In a match, I just killed 2 and got only 780XP!!!! In fact all of the other killers got below 600XP and all of the Victims got over 1000XP, 2 I killed, 1 Dropped and the other Escaped, and they all got more than the killers!! What is going on here seriously?

I think using the killers ability levels them more so might add to it more if you poison things or people but I can't be certain.

Why does XP mater to you? One guy can cut all the bonechimes in the basement down and get alot of XP for himself. Why does that impact that match? Why does it need to be fixed just so you can have a big PP ego on the end screen and see you had the most XP ?

Victims get points much easier than family, because they get points simply for being alive.

To get the most points as sissy, get the efficient herbalism perk that gives you a chance to not use up poison when poisoning items, and then poison EVERYTHING you can.

I mean you need xp to put more points into characters have you seen how much it needs to get up levels to put points into characters? Plus you need xp to level the perks and character ability.

I have that perk on her it's a good one gets up to 75% at max level.

Yeah you gotta poison stuff. I might have to read the description on Bane more again but from what I remember you have to use your poison cloud more in order to level up. Granted poisoning things on top of the map is kind of a waste since most Victims get their loot in the basement. Once you hit Level 3 then you can poison electronics such as fuse box. I ran her as a blood build too before I rerolled to Cook. I’m almost tempted to reroll cook so I can run blood since none of my teammates don’t feed Grandpa.

I already talked about this, that experience points for victims and for the family are not awarded fairly.
victims, if they run away from the map (even without doing a lot of actions in the match), receive from 1500 points to 3 thousand.
a family, if it kills 2 people, can get 600-800 points.
For many actions, points are simply not credited for some reason.
and yes, you said it right, you can inflict 4 hits on the victim, and your teammate will deal the last blow and kill him, then you will not receive anything for this kill. it is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I played Sissy level 3, where I tried to poison the car battery. It's such a stupid mechanic that it's best not to upgrade it in that direction.
the victim will be poisoned not at the moment when she begins to interact with the battery (to show the killer that someone is now turning off the battery), but after she does this. when it doesn't make any sense. so this is complete nonsense. The developers need to reconsider too much in this game.

ugh.

experience is important if you are leveling up your character and want to unlock good level 3 skills for him, for a more comfortable game. and when you are given 500 points for a game that you wait 10 minutes (and only play for 2), that’s not cool.

I agree. I pumped Sissy enough points into getting her blood attributes to where she can get 100 and then dumped the rest into Endurance. I could keep swinging and swinging away. Takes longer to kill them because of her low Savagery but you can be a thorn in their side. I guess its a matter of striking that perfect Balance of Endurance and Blood. I do agree that they need to rework Family's XP. It takes a long time to level up on Family compared to Victim. I think now I have 16 hours and have hit level 16 level to where I've seen other players already hit 30's and 40's probably because they play Victim mostly. I feel bad for people trying to level up HH's trapping ability. Seems like its hit or miss trying to catch Victims in traps. Whereas my Level 2 Cook is struggling trying to get Level 3 on Seek. 24k experience is gonna take me ages especially since you only get 50 per scan. Sometimes I'll get lucky and chain Seek them but the smarter ones will stop moving or making noise. Hell if you get Grandpa high enough on Blood then you have to keep an eye out for Victims trying to backstab him.

Oh yeah. in fact, at higher levels, where experienced players play.. for example 40+, I think.. there is no time at all to feed grandpa, because the survivors do everything very quickly. and this is the main problem of imbalance in this game. The family doesn't have enough time purely physically, they can't do the bare minimum because the victims will already escape through the fuse if you're too slow and not very vigilant.
so I noticed that at 40+ levels (I have 60), many simply do not feed grandfather, due to lack of time, but at the same time the victims still kill him over and over again.

to upgrade the cook to level 3, yes.. you will need a lot of time if you want to do it legally, just by playing as him.
You probably already know about the bug that has been around since release? cook, can go into the game and just start spamming locks on one door, while gaining a lot of experience. in one game you can farm 3-4 thousand experience. this way you can level up very quickly.
but the developers promise to fix this in the next update, on the 12th.
so... if you really want to play a level 3 cook, but don't want to spend a lot of time on it, you can use this method. your team won't be happy about this, but... in games where the survivors speed the fuse and don't give the killers a chance (due to game balance), then you can try to earn a little more points.

I thought doing the lock thing only counts toward like Security Pins or whatever that perk is called and not Seek. Seek is the one thing that I'm trying to level up. I have Security Pins to level 2 right now. Which right now I might reroll into a blood build for him. He's too slow to catch anyone anyways. I have more kills on Sissy compared to Cook. I'm basically running right now: Security PIns, Unrelenting, and Scout. Most are close to level 3. I dumped most if not all my points into Endurance.

you get 50 exp points for every placed lock. like north suggested, you can place them over and over to gain massive exp in short time. but I dont recommend this because this is literally trolling and forces to others play game 4v2.
I got lvl3 seek by normally playing game, I only spammed seek on same victim if they didnt stop moving.

I may have like 4k out of 24k on Seek right now.

Well, you have to understand that when playing the cook you are not, how to say... the main player. I mean, you are the support of the team. and you must understand beforehand that you won’t make many kills, as you correctly noted, you are too slow. and your main task is to feed your grandfather, control your part of the map, where you appear at the beginning of the match, control the castles that you hang, listen to the victims (preferably at level 3 of your ability, so that your team can also see them), and give information to your teammates.
you shouldn't take part in chases - this is important :)
