they don't have their own anti cheat for a start! and easy anti cheat is made by completely separate developers! so what cheat improvements are the devs of tcm possibly doing?

Easy anti cheat is owned by Epic Games. TCM “devs” pay epic money to integrate EAC into their game. The tcm “devs” don’t do anything related to the anti cheat it’s all done for them.

We have no idea when it will return for sure. All we've gotten are vague comments alluding to it being weeks, and that's them being hopeful. 2 weeks? 4 weeks? 30 weeks? Who knows.

exactly bro, all the devs had to do was remove game of game pass, after they decided to release the game without easy anti cheat because the didn't want pay more money for another licence

Also it took them almost 3 weeks to push out the first patch and they referred to that as a 'rapid patch' on the Reddit post. It wasn't even that hefty of a patch either. So, yeah, not holding my breath on cross playing coming back anytime soon.

Yup, should have removed that version from cross play or disabled it completely instead of the action they took. The Game Pass version now shows EAC loading on start up like the Steam version. I decided to download it and check that version out yesterday and noticed that. Should've turned cross play back on at that point.
