Is Johnny supossed to catch and finish off victims without giving them a chance to run away?
I don´t know if it was a cheater or this is an intended build but I went against a Johhny who outrunned and deleted me in a straight line chase within 4 hits and like in 5 seconds... Literally I was holding the run button and smashing ths sprint and did not get to the rift that was 10 meters away

Obviously, but players have their reasons to be suspicious when there are cheats and busted exploits in almost every part of the game. OP was only asking a question as he was unsure.

Yes, if he’s built right he can literally just 4-5 hit you from full health if he catches you in the open.

He’s pretty much just suppose to be a mini Leatherface.

Thank you, that was what I was trying to figure out.
With that many hackers and bugs in the game sometimes Im not sure if someone is cheating or its a feature of the game.

Yes. Besides that, LF can one-shot but you can hear him coming and is easier to keep his track. Johnny instead caught me opening a gate and by the time I realizad the yellow TR he was pretty close so I could not get to the nearest gap before he killed me

Yeah, you were just unlucky being caught out in the open like that. I usually run endurance perks to help me break chases when I get caught out in the open by a killer. My main perks are Choose Flight and Slippery.

He's just like a mini me Bubba. As others have said he can't slip through cracks or go under gates. Then you have Cook who can scan people but it takes ages to level up his Seek ability to where he really becomes useful. Cook is slow as hell as we know. He's not good in chases but can flank running Victims if your team actually uses Mics. I know because I'm 3k out of 24k to hit Level 3. Then you have Sissy who can light it up. Use to main her until I rerolled into the Cook. Should of stayed as Sissy because I could tear it up. People complain about her all the time because of her "poison bug" but I never ran those perks to do that. I ran Blood Build and could 2k a match plus level up Grandpa to 2 levels in one feeding. My remaining points are going into Bubba right now. Maybe a waste because I'll probably never get to play him.

though johnny does need some buff hes the worst killer, his ability is kinda bad. it leads u to cracks then u cant do anything its kinda useless. he should be able to go through cracks personally. all other killers have a secondary power. like locks, poison objects. he has none

You're not supposed to run in a straight line.... Victims can go through crawl spaces and gaps, use it. No wonder you get killed if you don't use the gameplay right.
Also yes, Johnny kills super fast once he catchs you. He's also super fast and has a wide swing. The point is to not get caught. Ths is why listening to players it seems like there's a cheater in every game when in reality they're not so many. Because when you get outskilled or outsmarted you yell bloody cheater... That Johnny was better than you. Learn from your mistake to get better that's all.

Johnny is a heavy hitter, he's gonna hit hard. 4 hits sounds adequate unless you were playing Ana. There are perks to make him slightly faster since he's a slow fella, it comes at the cost of either stamina usage or melee damage -- cant recall which -- I like to dabble around with various builds on him.

The problem is people discovered an exploit where when he swings he can move SUPER fast so he if he see's you, you are pretty much dead unless you have an immediate escape. That and Sissy's bugged Rubber Legs talent making it impossible to move means there are now two killers that kinda break the game.

1- If you pay attention and read carefully while procesing the words you are reading of the things I said, you should come to the conclussion that I´m not a new player and I´m aware of the game´s mechanics and I do know those basic infos. Useless answer.

2- We were not talking about LF, is not the subject of the post, Useless answer.

3- Again, if you read and process the words I posted in my messages, you should notice that I´m not claiming he was a cheater, I was asking instead if that kind of build was or not possible, and if not, THEN assuming it had to be a cheater, which sadly, is not unsual in this game. So again, useless answer.

If you are entitled to chant with your bias, you should not be surprised when someone tells you that your opinions are not constructive.
