Can someone explain leatherface's chainsaw upgrades?
I noticed some of the chainsaw upgrades dont actually have any noticeable effect, I just want to know what's going on between them.

Explain which ones you don't understand

1st right.
2nd mid.
3rd left.
That is my build.

I find them very noticeable, i don't overheat or stall chainsaw as much once i got them leveled up.

I mainly want the instant start chainsaw cause it's annoying enough that I have to go through the start chainsaw thing on every match.

Only path that matters is the middle one since it prevents you from overheating when you do your rev attack plus it grants insta rev.

The lv.2 "used 20% more before stalling" is the only thing you need.
The other paths don't really matter.

Another question:

If you go down multiple paths at once, do you lose out on potential stacking effect? Like the middle path says 10% then 20%, if i get them both does that make it 30%?

The left column is very good, but the instant start is currently a necessity due to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ leland play while you are stuck in cutscene. The 2 best builds right now are right 1, mid 2, left 3 for regular start, or left 1 mid 2 mid 3 for instant start. With the first build you can just go ham with rev swings and survive cutscene revs, but you are at mercy of being rushed by leland at the start of the game.

I’d like to actually know what these mean too. I always usually tend to stall it after a big rev and hit, unless it’s revved to say 95% or so.

AFAIK the mid one increases your "heat cap" and the left one reduces the chance you overheat for exceeding the "heat cap". Right side is less cooldown when you do overheat.

Whenever I play against bubbas online, they NEVER stall after doing a big rev and hit.

What’s the specific criteria i.e. perk or skill attribute needed to pull this off all the time?

Combination of first and second left and middle skills will do it. Gives them an indicator that they need to tap rev to avoid stalling out. If they were to get stunned during that and be prevented from revving they'd stall out.

Yea I tried selecting the middle one first and left one second, followed by instant start 3rd but it kept stalling after a big rev and hit.

I’ll try out some other combinations and see if I can get it right. The explanations are somewhat vague and ambiguous.

I do not understand what "Reduce Chainsaw Overheat" effect means...
"Reduces the chances of overheat from excessive revving by 10/20/30%"

I don't understand how this explanation actually works....
Its chance to prevent stun during overheat?
or increase heat-meter cap until overheats?

I’m not sure, but I read that as: you can rev the chainsaw for 10/20/30 longer ..?
