Console players having the freedom to turn crossplay off is very different from the devs officially turning off crossplay for an entire platform.

Disabling crossplay in options turns it off completely. That means you can only play with people on your own platform who also have crossplay turned off. The patch isolates PC players while consoles can still play together.

Funny thing is I bet cheaters will find a way to hack a game to enable crossplay matchmaking anyway even tho it is disabled.

It's already possible to spoof the platform you're on to look like you're on console.

Now whether that actually bypasses the crossplay change has yet to be seen.

Thing is people have been reporting this is already happening.

I am almost hoping consolers still get dunked on by flying Bubba's after the devs take away advertised functions from legit PC players "temporarily". Would be hilarious.

not gonna lie if theyd oand it's reasonably priced, but then, you're tempted to make up for the expense by using more than just the one practical function you'd have gotten it for is the problem especially after being jipped off xp so many times in 3k+ matches while theinternet worked perfectly fine and dbd is sittingt here sitll with no perks to grind and a xeno I can tunnel people to a dc penalty all day on for a sure dopamine rush
