I would rather just get the XP I deserve from the match than get "free xp", the game should simply recognize that I killed that player and count the kill.
I'm not sure how far into the animation it needs to get, but I've encountered it numerous times now that I don't get the kill if they exit right as it begins.
Basically delaying the time between the disconnect and the game recognising that they have disconnected, to avoid issues.
The main reason imo for it, other than "perfect record" is just... time. I personally don't want to wait an extra few seconds watching my own demise and knowing I screwed up in some way for this to happen, everyone is different, I just get pissed off more easily, so to know I can just leave and move on rather than stay and suffer is something I keep in mind.
lol when they get tired of spending more time afk and waiting to play than playing they'll find new ways to have fun and get the most out of their time as they can once their money is gone. in dbd, I go by the adage "don't hate the playa... hate the game" and blame it on behavior. I'm shocked they haven't experienced a class-action yet, comes to show how addicted their userbase is. who would sue their dealer?
Same here. I've been opening the scoreboard on each kill for a while now to watch it, and I've always gotten kill credit and the points for it after the animation finishes.
