How many players daily active cuz i want to buy this game and i afraid i regret i really love the game style ?

8-12k on PC , game has crossplay with roughly 15k-20k on each console.
So about 50k-60k overall.
Some estimated that it will drop to half by this week but if anything it got higher because the game is fun.

Player base is healthy. What this game has got going for it is that the gameplay loop is fun. This is the most important aspect of any game so all they can do to kill this game is to not update it frequently. I wish the Devs would give out a roadmap to get a better picture of how they will support it.

no idea about the player count but the second i press play i get into a game lobby... so its pretty healthy i would say

I play it on an Xbox One which has no crossplay and the matches are all instant regardless of the time of the day or which day of the week it is.
I imagine that with the PC and new gen consoles crossplay there is north of 100k players. Steam numbers are low because the game is a multi-platform release.

My question is about newer players. I know that each victim you can level up but how many people have experienced others leaving because there is a level 0 in their lobby? My fear is that it would take ages to play a match if everyone kept leaving.

More than enough and it will survive a good amount of time due to feedback.

You will be matched with similar levels, I'm nearly level 40 and I get a level 0 or below 10 once in a blue moon.

There is no level based or skill based matchmaking. You can get matched with people from any level and any skill.
GUN said in their metagame stream that they won't add anything like that because it is not a competitive game.

What this game needs is to be patched and we are gucci. I really love this game, but they are taking too long to resolve the issues.

The base has players playing, but it is definitely losing players since major things aren't getting patched. Just play as victim and you can speed run exits and level up fast. Don't bother with family because people don't communicate, the points you get are terrible compared to victim, and victims can speed rush exits, or chain stun exploit you at doors.

I am waiting for a patch, grinding exp or not getting any is demotivating atm, cant lvl up my characters. I think alot of people will play again once patch is up

Lobby search less than minute. But if you want particular character - you have to dodge some lobbies or ask for a swap.
