True but yet we don't know if this game gonna affect on lawsuit or hackers that's why I dont have any trust on Gun devs.
If just because of your assumptions "what can and cannot happen in the future" you don't trust GUN, then you can't trust anyone, and not just the game industry. The same affect on lawsuit can happen on any game, not just GUN games.
You can't stop trusting just based on "what if..."
But with TCM as far as it seems there won´t be a lawsuit happening.
And about the Hackers... It´s an online Multiplayer - there will be hackers! Or you think a publisher like GUN will have the secret solution for a problem all these AAA Companies can´t fix? The only hope would be that this Game doesnt get too much hype so that it´s not profitable for developers to create and sell cheats/hacks. For example: Hunt Showdown before it got "hyped" after major updates.
Let´s hope for the best and know that no game runs flawless at start these days.
You think it could fail or doesn´t meet your expectations at start? Just wait and start playing later when you think it´s "safe" to buy.
Gun Media made a post a while ago announcing they were focusing on newer projects (Texas Chainsaw) it's not the fact that Gun Media is a bad dev team. Meanwhile, F13 didn't have a chance to get picked up again, legally. They were one of the actual good ones imo. It was just unfortunate they were struck with licensing issues that Gun Media was dragged into. F13 was an amazing game and it was apart of this new genre with Dead by Daylight. I heard them saying they required the license somewhere, but I can't remember where. I guess you have to do that research. But anyone with common sense should learn from their mistakes and to fill up those gaps. But I trust Gun Media to do all of that. The playtest was a success and I really hope it picks up from where F13 was at or hell, even better. I'm not an optimist, but this game deserves my good karma.
I can't wait!
This guys knows. Devs can re-use assets if they want and build off what they learned w/ Friday the 13th as well.
I see this as a win.
The devs aren't to blame for anything, they're cool folks who made a fun game. They just got caught in the middle of a legal snafu.
If you have extra dosh, send them some love.
