The Charles Manson reference is very unnecessary

(For those who don't get it, apparently Sissy was part of his "cult" and she sings his garbage songs).

We should not romanticize sick uninspired people like him, it is really disturbing and turning me off from the game.

It is not "edgy" "creative" "smart" "innovative" "cool" or anything else.

Imagine being one of his victims and seeing people worshiping him like this. Guy literally has swastika between his eyes. Guy literally is a rapist who raped boys and a murderer.

I know it is "fiction" but they are mixing it with reality, there really is no justification nor anything redeeming about this. It is poor writing too.

Very disappointing, not sure what the devs were thinking?

Another FYI, in the Sissy bio it states that she spent time at Spahn Ranch not that she was apart of The Manson Family. I could understand how someone could understand that to mean that it's implied that she was.

Well there was dozens, maybe hundreds of individuals who spent time at Spahn Ranch at that time, and most all of them weren't in the actual cult. Most just wanted to partake in the festivities and then bounce. Just because she picked up some of his dumb songs doesn't mean she was in the cult.

Btw, all the actual cult members are known to history, and sissy wasn't one of them.

If we have to remove the reference to manson in Sissy, let's also remove Alan Moore's "From Hell" or any other fictional work based on real murderers...it's stupid.

The Manson reference in Sissy is great. And it means that the developers put effort into making their original characters believable and endowing them with an interesting background.

All of those is baseless talk with 0 concrete evidence. Besides, taking inspiration for fiction is not same as absolute reality.

Also, Johnny is also an original character.

Inform yourself with one of the multiple interviews and behind the scene footage of the texas chainsaw massacres, the people who work for the movie itself SAY the mask of leatherface, which is made of human flesh, was heavily inspired by Ed Gein. They also said the house details were inspired by Ed Gein, too.
