Does "Thrust" ever worked?
I mean , by the time you reach it and press R for the animation , the victim has already left the opening.

It's intended to catch people coming to you, not away. Deals a LOT of damage if it does manage to hit at all.

Man that's a very specific time to use the thrust ability.

I wouldn't say they get i-frames. I can land a hit on them when they first start going through the crack.

I'm level 45-ish now and I never gotten that mechanic to work. It should work to get a hit in on someone squeezing away from you.
'Looping' in this game is incredibly easy it's like I'm playing DBD back when Infinites and Window not getting blocked was a thing. The hatches and wall squeeze is barely punishable unless you got a second family member which is a lost to your team investing that effort onto one guy

You get i-frames shortly after the animation starts.

It does work yes, it can hit someone up to 3 hits in one usage. As Birthday says though it's usually to get people coming to you, rarely will get people going through it. You can however hit someone just standing on the other side of a very short gap.
