New Player Experience in Lobby

after 35 minutes, cant get into a game.

Never had problem finding a lobby even if its not peak time.
I get into a lobby in less then 30seconds

i find a lobby in 5 sec and wait 1 minet to begin to play a match ( both victim/family )

Lobby is awful. People talking all sorts and people co come and go, so fast. Getting 7 in a game is near impossible.

You sure you weren't just hanging out on the customization page? Or are you lobby hopping trying to get a certain character?

Well, butter my buttocks and call me a biscuit, that's surprising for a platform with crossplay.
I play this on an Xbox One which has no crossplay and I have been no-life playing this game since release, I've never had an issue with finding a match.
I can play the game at 8 AM or 3 AM on a weekday, matches are almost instant as both sides with Victim being slightly faster. No backfilling problem either in the lobbies when someone leaves.

Might be a bug, honestly. Something Steam-related.

No. But, I rather suspect all the people coming and going are doing such things. So, yet more reasons for this game to nose dive.

Thank you. You help prove my fear, that this game will be over run with obnoxious try hards, who, massively overplay and think killing and insulting new players is some kind of achievement, rather than a sign you got issues.

Good luck to the devs. Hope you can find a way to control these types who swarm, swamp and ruin games.

Don't take me wrong, I love helping new players and teaching them stuff every time i play with someone level 0 i got out of my way to actually try and make them escape.
But I mean what do you want anyone to tell you? Everyone including me told you that none of us encountered that issue, tho i do believe you, maybe something to do with your connection I don't know.

Never really had this problem since launch. most for me was MAYBE 5-7 minutes MAX. Now it's like at least 1-2 minutes. Maybe it is your internet? I don't know to be honest, and I'm sorry you're going through this.

All I got from you was you were crapping on the game for no getting a lobby and when you got into one people kept leaving which I've never encountered same for other people, maybe its a problem on your end.

ooh, i hope you are a self-appointed know it all here. You are awful. If you represent the community, they can keep it. Consider me, and my friends lost customers too. We only have 10,000 hours in DbD, but i guess 45 minutes will have to do here. Luckily I never completed the purchase. I'll be sure to let others know all about our wonderful experience here.

p.s. all games surge in the first few weeks. The test is if they nose dive. You have to be pretty silly to claim you know if a game will succeed based on a few days. Right now its full of all the wannabe try harders and know it alls too. The ones who usually help ruin online games scaring all the normal people away.

By any means did i ever claim the game wont die. All I said is that the game is going in the right direction which is not a lie, nor am I just saying this because i feel like saying it. Stats have proven it, the game had a few bug on release and slowly theyre being fixed. theres already leaks on a new family member, victim and map, which is quite impressive for a game that has 1 week (tho its quite sad its already leaked). So yeah facts prove the game is going on the right direction but only time will tell.

I don't represent the community by far lol, It's quite dumb that you and your friend even got offended by something that menae so little, clearly shows you're used to having words being sugar coated towards you.

Edit: not to mention theres a massive playerbase as of now which is insane, and yes it is known that gsmes tend to have lots of people on release but, TCM actually has a crazy ammount of people playing

10k hours in DbD? That's like a "nothing I say matters" neon sign, huge redflag, really.
And you're mentioning Evil Dead which had an Epic Games Store only release to a game that's on every platform and on GamePass.
Seriously, the last thing this game needs is DbD aficionados. They've already been doing some damage to the game, in fact.
Hopefully DBD will act like a containment software for TCM.
