How do you open door quietly / stealthy?

the killers are still in a cinematic scene, so if connie is fast enough she can already open up the door before you were in the game

You don't get notified of loud noise indicators, you have to be looking in the right direction.

Basement door's are impossible to stealth no matter how sneaky and stealthy you are
