It will drop eventually but not the point where the game will suffer from it.
Currently the game with crossplay (so consoles+PC) has roughly 30k-70k daily which is WAY more than enough. Even it it drops at half (which it wont since the game seems to be attracting players and not chasing them away for now) it is still healthy.
Which is understandable considering way better models/animations/graphics than in the dated Dead by Daylight.

There are more people watching than playing.
I'm on the fence about purchasing this but I genuinely don't see how this will have longevity. From what I've seen the gameplay is pretty shallow.
You probably play killers all the time, because we all know victims lose.
