Got like 10 games in a row where my team wouldn't talk or listen to me.
Took me a while, but i realized the problem.

I was skeptical of trying crossplay off because it probably means that I'll only be able to queue with people with crossplay off meaning slower queues but will try it next time I play

Most console players I had as teammates had voice chat muted altogether and whenever I get a teammate that speaks it's rarely either Xbox player or often a PC player

I had a few xbox players talking on friday, but today it has been nothing but radio silence.
You can only play so many games before it gets frustrating.
Just trying to give a tip to others who would like to be slightly more social in their games.
Didn't even think about it until I got slightly annoyed by no one talking at all for a dozen games or so.

Unironically yes, lots of stoners who play on console but in particular xbox. The cod / madden crowd and such

I'm pretty sure there is a bug with chat and VC. I keep asking if someone can hear me and NEVER get a response. Not via chat.. not via voice.

Going through my recordings.. I can hear myself.. so mic works ofc.

In my experience, console players are way less likely to use a mic and communicate. Especially if they are in a party because console parties disable ingame voice chat, meaning they can't hear you at all.

In my experience so far, A LOT of the console people are not mic'd up and do not speak in the game.
Some do, but most haven't been talking, even in the lobby.
Many are in a party, so perhaps it is a bug?
Just a guess at this point.
